Learning Targets

·         Research, read, and become increasingly conscious of "rites of passage" in various cultures

·         Apply knowledge of Coming of Age as a theme in literature and life by comparing and contrasting the student’s own Coming of Age experience with that of a character from the literature

Unit Grammar Goal

Create clear and coherent sentence by utilizing compound, complex, and simple sentences.
